I bought delicious begniets at Cafe Du Mond in the mall. I loved watching them make these incredible French donuts and it was worth waiting 20 minutes in line. The mall location was convenient and there was seating both inside and outside next to the water. The prices were reasonable and they even sell kits to make your own begniets at home. Mouth-watering!

Just the basics! Coffee and beignets. But they have decaf for me. With milk and chocolate. Fresh beignets- a delightful Chanukah treat! Quite a bit easier to get in here, in a mall, compared to their landmark outlet in the French Quarter.

I had such a great time here! The cafe and bakery serve really delicious drinks and pastries — everything tasted fresh and comforting. The atmosphere is lively with fun, upbeat music that makes you want to stay longer. What I love most is how close it is to New Orleans’ famous attractions, so it’s perfect for a quick stop while exploring the city. A great spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy some local flavor!

If you don’t feel like waiting for crazy long at the main cafe, this is the best option. Lines were great/fast and service was wonderful. The coffee was so good and so were the beignets. They were nice and hot. (Little tip: shake the bag before you start eating. Helps them get fully coated in powdered sugar) Will definitely be coming back!

Coffee and Beinets are great. Service is like The Soup Nazi on Seinfeld. Never been here before and they didn't like that I wanted to asked questions and read the menu. She quickly went on the the next people.

Stopped by for coffee and beignets on a Sunday morning. Place was pretty full but we found a free table so no wait at all. Queues did build up while we were there. Beignets were really good. Prices really good also. One point to note that it is cash only.

Coming from someone who doesn’t usually eat beignets: I really enjoyed them. I see they make them fresh so every order is hot and crispy. This location is out of the way unless going to that mall/riverfront area is your intended destination. We are not local and made this mistake. We ended up walking through a cruise terminal and a sea of people boarding a ship! Then we had to walk through a mall and take escalator down.

Fresh, hot beignets covered in mountains of powdered sugar. Famous chicory coffee and café au lait that have become part of New Orleans culture. Historic atmosphere in the French Quarter dating back to 1862. Fast-moving service despite often having long lines. What some people don't like: Heavy crowds and tourist traffic. Limited menu (mostly beignets, coffee, and a few drinks). Seating can be hectic during peak times. Some visitors feel the experience is overhyped compared to local alternatives. My take: The beignets are light, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and best enjoyed immediately with a café au lait. The atmosphere—street musicians, the French Quarter, and the history—is as much a part of the experience as the food itself. If it's your first trip to New Orleans, it's hard to skip. Many locals and visitors on Reddit still consider it the benchmark for New Orleans beignets, though some prefer alternatives such as Loretta's Authentic Pralines for filled or praline beignets. Recommended order: 1 order of beignets (3 pieces) Café au lait Bring cash just in case, as payment policies can vary by location. Overall: If you're in New Orleans, Cafe Du Monde is one of those iconic experiences that lives up to the hype for most visitors. The beignets are simple, but they're among the best you'll find in the city.

Of course I had to try the famous Cafe Du Monde Beignets. I am glad I went to this specific location Riverwalk to get a view of the River & Bridge. The Beignets were warm and delicious. I also liked the Iced Cafe Mocha Latte I ordered. The only recommendation I would have for staff is to clean the doors and windows more often. I also noticed some tables were dirty but towards the end I saw staff cleaning dinning area. The staff that helped me on the line were courteous and kept the line moving. I will definitely be back again to get me one more 3CT Beignets & Iced Cafe Mocha before I head back to Cali.

Went on a Friday afternoon and there were plenty of empty tables inside. We’re able to sit and be served. Had beignets to share an iced cafe au lait and a cafe au lait praline. All were amazing. Would definitely recommend. Might be back for some of the merch
